Privacy policy
Citizens Regeneration Lobby (CRL) will not sell, rent, share or trade the names or other personal information collected from our donors, newsletter subscribers, or individuals who sign our petitions or action alerts with any other entity without permission.
We may provide personal information to third parties on a confidential basis, but only as necessary for those third parties to process donations, send email alerts or newsletters on our behalf or otherwise maintain our database. Under our contracts with these third parties, all third parties are required to protect the privacy of our donors and subscribers.
Data security
The data CRL gathers is stored on servers at a secure third-party site, Engaging Networks, whose server network uses industry-standard methods to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal information.
Engaging Networks has put in place appropriate security measures to prevent the data collected by CRL from being accidentally lost, altered, used, disclosed or accessed in any unauthorised way. Engaging Networks limits access to the data collected by CRL to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
All CRL employees are aware that access to the date we collect is private, and that the sharing of this data is strictly prohibited.
The Internet is not 100-percent secure. We use appropriate and reasonable security measures as required by relevant law. However, we cannot promise that your use of our website will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet. This includes not sharing your passwords.
Information we collect
When you donate to CRL, either by using our online or mobile donation form, or by calling our office or sending your donation in the mail, we collect your name, email address, credit card number and billing information, including your postal address.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, or sign our action alerts, petitions or other forms on our site, we may collect your name, email address, street address or phone number. Some forms, for instance those used to contact members of Congress, may require us to collect all of this information, while others—such as subscribing to our newsletter—may require that we collect only your email address.
All of our email communications include an unsubscribe link with instructions for being removed from our email lists.

Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
