Jeremy is a former professional football player who transitioned to a career in health, nutrition, holistic wellness and community organizing. Better known to clients, customers and friends as “Mr. EYG,” Jeremy is the founder of Elevate Your Grind, his wellness and apparel brand, and EYG, the non-profit he started to give back to his community.
Through his nonprofit, Gray has developed and managed health, wellness, anti-hunger and nonviolence programs, youth athletic camps and community development projects throughout East Alabama.
If elected, Gray promises to “actively seek funding for infrastructure projects and healthy food initiatives that will help address the environmental landscape in our communities.”
In 2017, Jeremy purchased and began renovating the Lottie B. Curtis house, his great-grandfather’s Opelika home, to provide offices for his non-profit’s staff and volunteer mentors. When complete, the community resource will include a commercial-scale kitchen, space for dining and gathering, a technology lab and classrooms, a health clinic, meditation lawn and organic garden.
